Moreover, when we indulge in that kind of dishonesty, it can have a harmful effect on the way we see ourselves. Both as individuals and as members of society.

This in turn may adversely impact the goals we set, our ambitions. And the choices we all make. About whether or not to contribute in this world. About whether or not to reject apathy, or selfishness, or pettiness — and instead be one of the forces for good.
