Phaidon and Artspace are proud to present a new limited edition screenprint by world-renowned contemporary artist KAWS, released in tandem with the artist’s new Contemporary Artist Series book encapsulating the most comprehensive study on one of contemporary art's dominant influential forces.

Entitled TIDE, the limited edition of 100 silkscreen prints is inspired by the artist’s original and iconic painting TIDE, and is sold together with a hardcover edition of the new CAS book. TIDE depicts one of the artist’s signature COMPANION subjects floating in electric blue ocean illuminated by moonlight, vividly rendered through ten layers of silkscreen and ultraviolet ink. Like much of the artist’s work, the image is both playful and subversive, evoking wide ranging emotions from joy and tranquility to alienation and loneliness.
