Lebanese, Chinese, African, European instead of Russian or American, it makes no difference to me. I'm not racist. They reminded me of the image of those dead at sea. How am I sure? What kind of fucking question are you asking? Those poor things were migrants from Africa!That image is bad. In poor taste and far from artistically acceptable. People buy it just to make money. Whether you like my answer or not, it is my answer. The ignorance of some people, however, is shocking. Fortunately it only belongs to a few specimens. I've never managed to work out the meaning of most of his works or if there is any meaning. What the 'Urge' prints are about I'll never know.

I asked myself that very question but then thought it best to not continue with it. The subject matter is too difficult and delicate and the language barrier seemed unsurmountable.
