Artist buttons., by its all about me on Oct 10, 2023 11:53:47 GMT 1, Ten leading artists, Ai Weiwei, Jonathan Anderson, Rana Begum, Edmund de Waal, Antony Gormley, Callum Innes, Jennifer Lee, Cornelia Parker, Vicken Parsons & Caroline Walker, have been creating limited edition sets of buttons in support of Kettleโs Yard. The buttons will be displayed at LOEWEโs flagship London store from 11 โ 15 October 2023, and in the Kettleโs Yard shop until December.

"Framing Artists Buttons:
In discussion with the artists, the following specification is recommended:
- 10mm (width) x 33mm (depth) oak moulding with medium brown wax finish
- 100% acid free museum-quality mounting board
- conservation standard and reversible artwork mounting materials
- low-reflection artglass with a 70% UV filter
For Rana Begum, the above applies, however the moulding should be stained white. For Jennifer Lee, the moulding should be limed oak."
Outstanding that they have provided these clarifications. Heaven forbid we frame our buttons not in accordance with the artists' specifications.

Actually like the Gormley ones, fits in with the sculptural aspect of what he does?

Wife if she finds out I start collecting expensive buttons.

Please note purchases of Artists Buttons per customer must not exceed ยฃ8,500. Any order exceeding ยฃ8,500 will not be processed.
I only spent 8 grand on them so fortunately my order going through ๐
