I have one too.
I guess it was a solid provenance as I know the seller.
What is intrigating me is the trade : a Banksy postcard for a Kaws Toy ?!
Anyway I respect the swap of the OP, but a Kaws toy...
There are so many, but there is only one Banksy postcard and I cherish it !

There is zero desire on my part to buy this particular card.

As alluded to by Acme Thunderer, the above queries are largely for the benefit of other members, and therefore deliberately public:


1.  The questions were primarily intended to serve as an unsubtle prompt for the inexperienced potential buyers among us — a reminder of the issues we should always be seeking confirmation about before moving forward with a purchase.


This is important when sellers are less-than-forthcoming, especially about the provenance of what they're offloading.

And it seems critical when what is being sold is claimed to be an item of Banksy ephemera:

(i)  for which the sale price is likely to be more than nominal;

(ii)  that has not had the oversight of Pest Control Office, and thus lacks the safety net of a PCO certificate of authencity; and

(iii)  in relation to which the issue of widespread fakes on the market is well-known to anyone who has been paying attention.



2.  As a secondary matter, the questions were an effort to better gauge the mindset of the seller of this counterfeit Weapons of Mass Distraction card.


It remains unclear to me whether Xihuan Art:

(a)  is oblivious, albeit perhaps still acting in good faith, despite having failed to carry out the requisite due diligence steps at the time of their original acquisition;

(b)  might possibly have had suspicions or concerns about the genuineness of the item, and is therefore arguably selling in bad faith, or at least with reckless disregard as to authenticity; or

(c)  is patently dishonest, and dumping an item they already know to be fake.

Was this from a seller in Belgium? 

There is a suspicous seller from Belgium for these cards indeed. He sells these cards almost every week on Catawiki.
