Oh look, the Duke and Duchess of D-bag is selling something I was trying to buy when it was released, but they out F5'ed me (or whatever) or had an inside track to Avant Arte et al and got to buy the release of the not-released-to-public release. No worries, something else will come along and I am patient. Big shrug. More money aside for when something more interesting comes along. Or not. Either way, I'm not buying from anyone's long laundry list sale of mediocre shite they wish they hadn't bought (or really couldn't afford to buy all the rubbish they bought).

I’ve never understood the rage that sale posts seem to generate if they lack information, pictures, prices etc. Nobody is being forced to buy anything - just keep on scrolling. I’ve bought from fully detailed sales posts and from long lists of just artists names and the interactions I’ve had with the members has been pretty much the same. If you’re genuinely interested in buying the art, you’ll usually find a very responsive person on DM who will give you all the information you need - and if you don’t then just move on,

What I can't understand is the inability to post information. All sales posts should at a minimum have:

Condition
Location
Details on shipping and fees
Image of the work
AT the very least, make the details clear.

When selling do the research , you can easily find what the market dictates, price accordingly when you have no fees to pay selling on the forum, the idea is both parties should benefit from using this platform, other wise stick to ebay/ auctions. If you price it too high , you can then adjust and get a sale, at least put a starting point to work with.
I just find the for sale section has become very lazy and as mentioned above the buyer needs to do all the work.
That's my rant over , if nothing changes maybe I'm the idiot, it certainly won't be the first time.

It really isn't that difficult, stop being greedy expecting ebay/auction prices without the associated fees, stop bringing lazy and add a price.

It really isn't that difficult, stop being greedy expecting ebay/auction prices without the associated fees, stop bringing lazy and add a price. |

Just a few suggestions to try and improve the buying and selling experience , if you don't get it and are happy with the current state of the sales threads, fine keep sending/receiving the dm's only to find out what the seller wants isn't what you want to pay.
Just seems like a waste of time for all involved.

Nobody has upset me, I've not been ripped off, sell very little on the forum, what I buy is for the wall. It annoys me how the tax man keeps grabbing tax multiple times. You pay tax on what you earn. You then pay tax when you spend it on clothes or a night down the pub. If you save it, you get charged tax on your interest. You get taxed again if you sell what you previously bought (and previously paid tax on). And then when you die, your relatives pay tax on the money you leave them. You are basically paying tax numerous times on the same pile of money. Yes, pay tax once. But why should you pay tax multiple times?
