At some stage going forward, I was planning on starting a new thread, which would largely consist of case studies.

These would cover multiple subjects, such as clinical assessments of examples of deceit or other dishonesty, including by specific members of this message board.



A separate, consolidated thread seems appropriate.

Since many of the key posts would be evidence-based — and therefore analytical and longwinded — anyone uninterested in a dry, long read could simply scroll past the thread and focus their attention elsewhere.

Moreover, besides its educational or public-service-announcement potential, such a thread might even act as a gentle deterrent. A deterrent for the few among us who may be:

(a)  tempted to deceive or defraud their fellow forum members; yet

(b)  somewhat hesitant about the unwanted exposure of having a spotlight shone on them and their shenanigans.
