Like many reading this, my walls are full of art I've discovered through this community and I've always wanted to take the leap and create something myself. About a year ago my wife and I had our first baby, which meant I've been pushing a pram around almost non stop since. To add some variety to our step collecting, I started seeking out street art across Melbourne and these walks quickly turned into scouting missions for locations to bring some of my ideas to life.

Some of my inspiration comes from Invader mosaics and Obey stickers as I've always enjoyed a treasure hunt and seeing what someone has chosen as their backdrop. Also, I have a new found respect for some of my favourite artists, Pahnl and Stik. Capturing emotion or telling a story in only a couple of carefully placed lines was much more challenging (and fun) than I expected. 

Over the last year I've stuck hand drawn stickers around Melbourne and Id love to share my journey with you all. Tomorrow I will start a 10 day countdown with some stop motion I've made, before rolling straight into the main event. Hopefully this is the start of something great for StickOut. Worst case scenario I have had a load of fun doing it, discovered some Australian artists and learned a lot about my local city.
