The edition was a third of what these are (50 each for 150 total), but very few (if any) were flipped immediately. Price was also double what these are selling for (35K USD to 18K USD for the set).

Hard to say who, but Jonas released much more editions than George. That might change now.

AA recently sell stuff at much more reasonable price that they used to. Hard to say who, but Jonas released much more editions than George. That might change now. |

Even though I think the new Condo prints are really special, theyโre basically a replacement for those of us who could never dream of buying an original. For instance, I love this series of JW prints. They were obviously never conceived as paintings and then translated to prints.

Seriously, the Matisse pots, this massive interior kitchen, and what else? His clippings and basketball orchids are โokโ.
I did like the flower pots you referenced with the mountains in the pot, but I donโt think theyโre amazing, and look to be more on par with Condoโs past edition releases.
I guess what Iโm trying to say (and to bring the conversation back to GC) is that these prints are really up there in quality and image selection!

I understand your reasoning and it must be nice, being able to buy works by your favorite artist, at the beginning and at very low prices.
There will always be someone who will sell something.
But many will keep what they like on the wall.
The catapult is like the guillotine, when you start using it you become an executioner.

When they get to the end and realize I once owned 3 of the known da Vinci paintings (and 2 of the unknown da Vinci paintings) they will have no choice but to beg me to own these lowly prints.

Why don't you sell your Da Vinci works and buy all the Banksy ones in circulation? That would be crazy!
