Buying super wide (8" +) shipping tubes in the US, by Red Lotus on Jan 22, 2024 11:49:20 GMT 1, Hi all,
Looking to make a purchase from a US seller and I'm looking for it to be sent in a super wide tube, maybe 8" + in diameter (around 30"+ in length).
I know of UK suppliers, but everything we can find in the states is sold as a multipack. Does anyone have any good US suppliers that will sell a single tube?

Slight curve ball Red Lotus, but I have used plastic tubes used for drains/drainage before?
Readily available at DIY stores etc, your dimensions would be no problem. They may even have off cuts etc?
Really sturdy, and worked a treat when I used them a while ago.

Schedule-40 PVC with matching endcaps. Have used a few myself for bombproof shipping or long-term storage that is larger than my portfolio. And they are reusable.

However I had a look on their US eBay store and they actually sell smaller length tubes in 2 packs which isnโt on their site, so Iโve ordered a pair.
Good idea on the PVC route, I want to make this easy for the seller so sending a tube to them is better for now but thatโs a great idea.
Iโve had a print shipped in a hard plastic architect plan tube before which also worked well.

I've purchased some of the individual 10" and 12" diameter 'super strong' tubes before in varying lengths which worked well.
