Something else struck me; have you noticed on the banksy website the list with โfakeโ shows has disappeared. Strangely the guy organising it went busted last year (reappearing though with a new company Fill the walls).

Iโm guessing someone of the very richest 1% of our population might have a newly built wall with an anti consumerism message around his pool (or property). Ainโt that funny or ainโt it. Something else struck me; have you noticed on the banksy website the list with โfakeโ shows has disappeared. I seem to have some weird unbelievable faith that Robin G. canโt be as bad as some make him seem, but fact is that weird things have been going on regarding this change of direction from a marxist-leninist ideal to well, whatever it is now. But itโs suggestion, and based on nothing more then trying to make some sense of everyting that happened. I was wondering if the sale of Laz his business in London had anything to do with it all.

I deleted it because posted it in the middle of the night and thought to read it over before posting it. Iโm not a fan of the Mason Storm character although heโs funny sometimes. Heโs familiar to Steve. I guess the (UK)art world is a small world and thereโs things going on. Andy Linky Link, JPS, they all say that RG is a fraud, and heโs living in some fairytale castle in LA. I guess with Holly Cushing then. This kind of unscrupulous behaviour is quite common.
Many years ago I worked for a music festival, run by two partners. One year it went badly, as there was heavy rain in the run-up to the event, so there was an unexpected cost of ยฃ50k+ on trackway, sawdust, extra this and that. As a result the event lost a lot of money. The two partners declared their company bankrupt, so that they didn't have to pay the outstanding debts to their suppliers.
The following week the same two directors set up a new company, at the same registered address, to run the festival for the following years - nothing else changed. The suppliers got paid from the following year's profit, following a lot of tense negotations!
I still don't quite understand how you can do this legally, but it goes on all the time.
