ROA - signature, by modern art lover on Feb 20, 2024 18:40:10 GMT 1, As some of you know already, I'm looking for a ROA to add to my collection.
Recently, someone offered me this drawing (not via UAA). It's a recognizable work/theme/style,...
Nevertheless, I have never seen this signature of ROA?
So, I have my doubts....Already have some fake works in collection 
The provenance is also not helping me any further.
Is there anyone who can help me out? Or some advice to verify if this one is genuine?

Was it picked up at a show and was taken out of a sketchbook?
I would have expected there to be more dketches with this different signature on if that was the case. Is there an ROA closed FB group you can ask?

It seems odd to go to the effort in faking a drawing and not at least trying to get that right? I’d maybe try and have a chat with one of his galleries and see what they say.

ROA - signature, by seba on Feb 21, 2024 13:04:03 GMT 1, I am not an expert. but I have seen a few variations of his signature and tag and this certainly has elemenents of his other signature styles. It looks more like a sketch from a book than a commercial work of art sold by a gallery to me.

Looks to me, like seba said above, that this is like a sketch from his personal book or something like that and that he may have experimented with his signature ...
How did the guy wanting to sell it to you get the piece? Any idea on that?

all i would say is that if it legit - then the seller will understand you need to make sure that it is and will hopefully be willing to shed a bit more light on it.
