The figure has no feet, which we know Banksy likes to do, usually opting to fade them out towards the bottom. Banksy also has used similar methods in the past, like that 'Boring' he sprayed onto that brutalist building using a fire extinguisher in 2008. He's also used a pressure hose before on the tube during lockdown.

Above all I remember, the IA - six months ago, and that Banksy does not has never claimed, with an unfinished side and elaborate details. We are a long way away, for example, from the works unveiled in Ukraine.

Original and very interesting work. I agree and like the choice to release a screenprint in an edition of 50 with a lottery.
Only £10 for a screen print on wall size paper is fabulous!
The proceeds will go to an environmental association "Twin Peaks", which deals with the environment and natural deodorants for the home. Fingers crossed! 👍
*The request to participate must be made by Greenwich time (London, United Kingdom).

I was a bit dismissive of the print in that its more whimsical, like a story book illustration. But maybe that's the point, given lockdown prevented the street piece from happening in reality, the print version was created.
Alot of street pieces would be hard to recreate in way that works in print format. I really like the hosed background, all green and lots of drips.

The technique is different from what he usually does.
The green in the character is painted on top of the black and Banksy would paint it behind the black and keep open spaces in the black layer to let the green through. He would first paint the black layer for reference and paint the colored bits, then repaint the black layer again for the end result.
