Do they have the feeling that everyone here knows every artist. And there are often such different works within an oeuvre. I have often bought a work by an unknown artist, but I have to see the painting or the print. I don't have time to ask every time... 'why don't you send me a photo of the painting by the artist I don't know? Maybe that could be something for me...'

I suspect most buyers in my position would also prefer this level of discretion.

Same applies to people who use stock images.
If you are selling (especially newer members) - just be open and transparent with what you are wanting to sell then you will come across as more trustworthy.
If you want discretion, then use a gallery or auction house instead.
