It also shows that most editions by artists collected on here are heavily overpriced in relation to their pricing for their original works.
Don‘t even get my started about the substance and quality of the work, i‘m still shocked at what kind of terrible work people on here have burnt insane amounts of money over the recent years.(chevrier, watson, findac to name some of the worst that came to mind)

To my knowledge this is Man’s first edition and an excellent example of his work, so I’ll enjoy it on the wall for 10-20 years (knock on wood) and then see where his market is at. His trajectory is certainly interesting — I don’t know of many other artists with a bigger disconnect between their public profile / fan base and their auction prices, but I’d certainly like to!

Yeah some of my best investments have been pieces that didn’t “sell out instantly”, but I mostly buy to enjoy the art anyways, which is why I enjoy posting about underfollowed artists and editions that some might have missed (and agree that many of the artists that this forum promotes are lost on me).
