Some rare and interesting pieces - prices reduced, by edcase on Apr 7, 2024 14:00:59 GMT 1, Most prices reduced for a quick sale. All based in Bristol. Thanks.
Kai & Sunny original tondo painting, 80x80cm - £POA
Really needs to be seen in person to fully appreciate how spectacular it is. A very special commission piece with some interesting additional provenance, in that it was used for the launch of cycling apparel brand, Kostüme. Please DM for full details. You can see the clothing range here: kostume.cc/edit-001
Kai & Sunny Dawn Wave edition of 75, unframed
There was also a print edition related to the tondo - a few of these are still available from the Kostüme site for £225 (unframed): kostume.cc/kai-sunny-signed-limited-edition-print/
Tauba Auerbach 24-hour clock - £650 [/b]
This was published by The Thing back in 2013 and is unused (aside from popping a battery in to test it works) still in the original box and packaging.
More about it here: www.hodinkee.com/articles/interview-the-thing-quarterly-issue-xx-a-clock-by-artist-tauba-auerbach
Jonathan Monk Unique Receipt Drawing - £1,750
The only way to guarantee yourself one of these very sought after original pieces. The edition of 50 sells for about the same as this, but this is a genuine original scored directly from the artist by me, framed beautifully. I am about to list this on Artsy for more fyi.
Katrin Fridriks - Punk No.7 2010 - £2500
A small piece of history. These were the first ever editioned works by Fridriks. I know, because I published them, working with the legendary Thumbprint Editions (Hirst, Kapoor etc.) to create a gravure etching of her 'Bells r Ringing' calligraphy work, which Katrin then painted over with acrylics in her signature style. There were 18 of these made, all unique and sold by me, and this was my personal pick of the bunch. Framed by Ricardo Pauli.
Martha Cooper original 9x12in photo on Kodak photopaper - £800
This is an edition of 100 signed and numbered that was created for the 25th anniversary edition of the Subway Art book. I would also consider selling the book (also tagged by Blade) and both prints together for £1,500.
Henry Chalfant original 9x12in photo on Kodak photopaper - £500
Same as the above, matching number.
Andy Warhol's Index Book - £500
Super fun, interesting and collectible piece that I bought at auction at Phillips many moons ago. DM me for more pics, it's full of interesting photos, pop-out sculptures, even a Velvet underground acetate. As with every single one of these books on the market, the balloon has over time gone to mush and stuck those two pages together, but from my research this is true of every copy that still exists! If you're a Warhol fan and a book collector this is a really great addition.
Gabriele de Santis - diptych on marble: £2,000
A former Frieze one-to-watch, only selling this because the wife doesn't like it, so it's not currently on a wall.
Pietro Psaier, Soup Can original painting on Fruit Wood - £1,750
Easily the most interesting piece in my whole collection, and one of the weirdest stories in the art world. I suggest you spend half an hour on Google and decide for yourself. I once sold a Fridriks to a major Warhol collector who was also one of the world's leading collectors of Marilyn Monroe memorabilia. When I went to his house to deliver the piece he showed me his collection and one of the best pieces was by this artist, which I initially mistook for a Warhol. The guy laughed and told me the story, and recommended I buy one. You can read some of it here:

Yoshitomo Nara Marching on a Butterbur leaf (the second version, on wove paper) - £200
Never got round to framing this. Probably never will. Still in tube. I'm sure you don't need a pic of this one!
'Tavolo con Ruote' 25 Years Anniversary Limited Edition of 400, 120x120cm - £800
This table does not unfortunately mix well with toddlers, so it has to go. This is the signed and numbered limited edition made for the 25th anniversary, as seen in collections including MoMA and Pompidou amongst others. Wheels are immaculate, the glass has some light marking as to be expected from normal use.
Gérard Rancinan - Head of Mickey, C-Print on Kodak Endura, 2012: £1,000
I have a couple of A/P's available from this long sold out edition, recently rediscovered after storage clear-out! Original works sell for six figures.
Joseph Loughbourough - Beaming Widow, 59x84cm, charcoal and spraypaint on paper, 2010 FRAMED £400

Some rare and interesting pieces - prices reduced, by edcase on Apr 10, 2024 16:18:24 GMT 1, Sorry, first chance I've had to sit down and reply.
Lots of trade and part-trade offers - thanks but as the listing says, I am only selling because I need cash. I will consider sensible offers...
