To Insure or not to Insure, by hawk on Apr 20, 2008 18:41:21 GMT 1, I'v been lucky over the last few years to pick up some great work. A few Banksy's, D*face, Hewlett, Cauty, Fowler, Fairey, Walker etc. And someone asked do I have them insured. Which at the moment I dont. With the rising price of some of them they now exced my contents insurance and I was just wondering what everyone ealse does. I mean I would be gutted to lose any of them. So what do you do?

It's a really good point. The form itself is secured to banking standards but as for us? We're fully FSA regulated and Data Protection Act registered. We've only asked the questions that we've been requested to ask by the underwriters - some of which as you point out naturally contain private information. Other people have found it better to phone us which is also very welcomed and often preferred otherwise I just sit in front of a screen all day!
