Are they getting a COA? If they are, then wait for it until you sell. Cheapest price for anything signed by Banksy is ยฃ8k, so would have to be upwards of that.

Well its interesting because, I'm not an avid art seller/buyer/collector, so when I received there was some fine print in the purchase email saying that they would give a CoA after 2 years of purchase. So I emailed them asking if it was okay to apply for a CoA for my can from GDP if I moved and my address changed. They said it was perfectly okay and to email either them (GDP Sales) or Pest Control and they would either be okay to get a CoA. So I'm going to assume CoA is guaranteed based on that correspondence.
Again, while I am no professional, it appears the signature is uniquely handwritten and after comparing with a few others who own a can, it appears the signature is uniquely different on each can. So yes, it has handwritten and it should get a CoA.

Well, if they are getting Coa and they appear to be very limited, then probably ยฃ15k upwards. Only a guess, but that is what anyone's opinion would be. If you have to sell, then at least wait until one goes through auction to get an estimate of the market value though.

What sort of offers have you had out of interest? I would imagine most are low ballers!

Banksy doesn't need any money. As long as his Ford Cortina gets through the mot, he's happy. Would be interesting to know though if anyone bought these cans after the lottery like the prints. Anyone know if they were available to buy and what price?

The cost was exactly the same. 10 GBP + Shipping (depending where you are). Mine was 45 GBP shipping to Canada.

I'm in talks with quite a few potential buyers who have proposed some offers and I have my own idea of what the cost would be, but I'm interested to hear from others. And what price would that be? After those long posts you must have it down to shillings and pence by now All jokes aside I'd grab that ยฃ5k someone on here was offering, unless it was YOU haha no it wasn't me. In fact, it was someone who had approached me on Reddit a few months ago. At this point, I can confidently say it will 100% sell for 9-10k GBP. I had been approached by almost two dozen people within the course of less than one week who started with offers of at least 5-6k GBP. Those were the initial offers and I've come to learn that absolutely no one starts with their max bid in mind. I do believe that any true and genuine owner with the right validity/proof BEFORE a CoA can achieve a price of 15k GBP when they find the right person with the means. I, however, see a cost associated in the time and effort involved so a final particular price depends on the seller's level of comfort to compromise making that consideration. After a CoA, I PREDICT that it will increase in price by at least 50% to potentially 100% based on my personal intuition of demand and timing of released publicly known ownership. I have also spoken to 4 other owners of cans who all say they will "never" sell but all agree and recognize that the price of the can is along the range I describe above. So, if they do sell then it'll probably be along the same exact lines. I think 9-10k GBP is a fair price considering what is known and what we can logically deduct and the highest justifiable price given the risk of some unknowns such a return to production, true quantity, and what the market will bare. I will also say that IF GDP disappears after the EU court case then its a GUARANTEE the price of the can and other GDP items will increase exponentially.
To be honest, I'm tired of saying "Who knows though?" or "It could all change later" as a general disclaimer because those statements don't really have any particular value and are not bound to the Banksy Black. You could say those statements about literally anything. So I'm done with it! lol Cheers

Can't see anyway near ยฃ15k without a COA, then a jump of another 50% to 100% with one.
Its an unlimited spray can and who knows we could all get one for a tenner in time! (we hope)

(we hope) This is where my conjecture comes in to play. I believe the Limited and Unlimited items was an irony play by Banksy. He is very well known for his critical reception and attitude towards commoditizing art. He demonstrated this with his NYC park stunt where he had an old man unannounced try to sell his art to people passing by for $50/60/100 and most people didn't bite and those that did were less than shocked or impressed. I believe he will make a statement about how the rarest items were the cheapest and most "available" and ditto vice versa. Also, if you followed the GDP opening/sale/closing you would have noticed that all the items "Sold Out" at the exact same time which was like 3 or 4 days after the opening of GDP. I find it a strange coincidence that Unlimited items would run out as quickly as items that he only has 1/2/3 of in the same amount of time. Obviously Unlimited doesn't mean he literally had an infinite amount of them ready to go, produce and sell but it implies his perception of the stock he had would be significantly more but instead we see the stock run out at exactly the same time? Strange? Coincidence? Or maybe it's the irony play I spoke of.

Art Valuation โข What's it Worth?, by Deleted on Jun 16, 2020 17:03:32 GMT 1, haha no it wasn't me. So I'm done with it! lol Cheers And what a post to finish with! Can't see anyway near ยฃ15k without a COA, then a jump of another 50% to 100% with one. Its an unlimited spray can and who knows we could all get one for a tenner in time! (we hope) Trying to work out how much I want one though, would like a clock more (wife wants one) but a can would be right up my street.
It's the unlimited debate again, it's only unlimited until they stop producing etc etc etc
I think i would pay a lot though if the deal was right and trust was sorted
I like a gamble, and would take the gamble for something that I really like the look of.
So much lovely art around, there is an excellent looking Childish canvas on ebay

GDP is too quiet about bbay etc.
I said it from the start, I feel a big sting in the tail about COA's/unlimited items.
Edit, I agree with your wife the clock for me

Art Valuation โข What's it Worth?, by irl1 on Jun 16, 2020 17:35:48 GMT 1, I've always wondered (I don't have lot else going on in my life) whether, when people start offering silly money for items like this, would it not be worth contacting Banksy and seeing whether he'd like the option of having the money? Banksy doesn't need any money. As long as his Ford Cortina gets through the mot, he's happy. Would be interesting to know though if anyone bought these cans after the lottery like the prints. Anyone know if they were available to buy and what price? Everyone should get one soon, Banksy spent the lockdown signing cans
