It replaced the banksy pulp in east london after it was painted over. Also have a huge mantis clamped which i think is a AP of a run that he only did 2 of. Both sprayed on paper. Will dig them out and check.
Also have a penny dead on the money framed. I know his prices are not crazy but this is an early penny note.

I was at the London print fair this weekend and saw that a similar size - larger edition of 100 was selling for £20k. That can’t be right…. After looking at comps on Artnet price database I think it would go for an estimate of $3,000 - $5,000. I sold a Blueberry Field 1968 last winter for $6,000 with premium.

Looking at comps from the major auction houses on Artnet his works on paper appear to yield a higher result in Asia than America. I guess it also depends on the image. |
