'Spenhy is an emerging artist, who creates visually striking, multidimensional works that are presented as digital representations of their physical constructions. Combining materials such as lead, iron and concrete with powerful themes of ritual, impermanence, and rebirth.
Spenhy uses the same materials over and over again, transforming them from one artwork to the next, in a kind of ritual or spiritual practice. The lead and other metals that Spenhy uses are imbued with the energy and intention of each previous artwork. As they are melted down and reformed, they carry with them the memories and experiences of all the artworks that came before, creating an ancestral lineage that connects each new piece to a larger spiritual tradition'.
