Pejac & Avant Arte - A new print series, by Frndly Fire on Jul 16, 2024 11:43:33 GMT 1, I actually prefer the earlier editions. There's something about the sparseness of them that I like. Yep same here, 1-2 look nice on their own, and find 3-7 are less strong as an image. Fair enough, for me the message is lost in the earlier ones as those pieces don't work without the illusion of the crevice.

Pejac & Avant Arte - A new print series, by its all about me on Jul 16, 2024 11:47:45 GMT 1, I find it amusing that AA come on here saying theyโre trying to prevent prints getting into the hands of flippers. This forum is made up primarily of flippers and people looking to turn a profit. They know this but they also know they can shift the majority of their prints to these people. I wish theyโd give it a rest with their BS. If AA don't care about the prints getting into the hands of flippers then why did they cancel all the orders from batch one and start again?

Yeah, the earlier ones are a different image entirely, but find them quite eye pleasing, with good white space, and they work as an image. While the others to me look more like an unfinished picture.

Pejac & Avant Arte - A new print series, by Jimini Cricket on Jul 16, 2024 12:06:50 GMT 1, Really? Why the snitching? Fuck any two year resale agreement! You had to be an NFT holder to purchase this print. Chanel-Abney and AA got their money. Nobody went without because this person bought a print over a year ago. jimini Snitchy does it all the time. Itโs a bit embarrassing really. For you, I'll do it again

Pejac & Avant Arte - A new print series, by Wearology on Jul 16, 2024 14:26:58 GMT 1, For those that may not know - Re-Sale agreements are a written and signed agreement between the seller and the buyer that states a specific time period that the buyer has to possess the item they purchased without selling it. They were created to prevent buyers from flooding the market with artwork they recently purchased - therefore affecting the sellers market in a negative way. Most galleries use a standard re-sale agreement. Re-Sale agreements have been broken in the past and they have been challenged in court. All galleries, artists, dealers, institutions, etc. who have tried to enforce a no re-sale agreement in court as of July 2024 have lost. If you plan on buying art from galleries now and in the future and you sign a no re-sale agreement - it is best to honor the agreement. If you want to buy something once and sign a no re-sale agreement and flip it, chances are legally you are fine - but the art world is a small market and gallery owners definitely do talk to each other and so do artists to artists. Caveat Emptor !

Pejac & Avant Arte - A new print series, by yoss on Jul 16, 2024 14:36:31 GMT 1, While bummed I didn't win the tier 2 lottery, I gotta say that I am happy that at least Avant Arte sends an email saying that you didn't win. Much better than just sitting around being Schrodinger's Buyer and wondering...I am neither a winner nor a loser in the lottery.
I think the tier 2 edition is a nice segue from just a bunch of wandering people in tier 1 and sort of coming together for some companionship...

Pejac & Avant Arte - A new print series, by Viennese on Jul 16, 2024 15:02:00 GMT 1, They got meโฆ I wanted to try only for the first two batches due to pricing but found myself in the draw for the third batch as well. I would love owning any of them - including the very first ones. I never really look at a print without context so considering what they evolve into, its the very first ones that express most of the hope. As always they are beautifully drawn!

If we refer to the leaked image looks like number 3 is part of it. did not get any chance at the draw (as always ) it's a sign to stop buying print

Pejac & Avant Arte - A new print series, by tranito on Jul 16, 2024 16:08:00 GMT 1, I think chances to win a draw will start to increase significantly, if not exponentially. Nobody posted they got selected for group #1. A couple of members posted they got in on group #2 (congrats!). I expect more wins with group #3 (or at least a much better ratio of win/applicant). Group #4 will be hard again, because of the tryptich pre sale, but group #5 should be the first one with decent odds of being selected. Group #6 and #7 shouldn't be too hard to get. Most people will be priced out at that point and I wouldn't be surprised if collectors with no limit on the budget either went for the tryptich or will go for the more complete image (and extra hand finishing) of last group.

I assume most of the triptych winners are members of UAA. Curious if anyone can make a triptych (1, 4, 8) by lottery alone.

Maybe add some color to a person or two...
He added birds to Scattercrow, dog-sledders to Wound, etc...I assume there won't be AP's for this release so maybe we'll get lucky on a few random prints!!! fingers crossed!!!
And I wonder if Pejac used the same gilder for Hope that he did for New Wave?

It's a handful of collectors in Norway that has hit the "jackpot" in the group 2 launch. More than people saying they got one here.

Did you see the "maybe" written in my post? As I recall at the release of Wound and Scattercrow (etc.), there was no notification that there would be AP's or hand-finished editions, right? But there were special editions released. Was it random who received the special editions? Probably not. But one can hope that during Pejac's month-long stay at Well-Made that maybe he felt generous and added a little extra to a handful of prints...
And as for speculation: "It's a handful of collectors in Norway that has hit the "jackpot" in the group 2 launch. More than people saying they got one here."
Is there something we should know about Norwegian collectors?

As I recall at the release of Wound and Scattercrow (etc.), there was no notification that there would be AP's or hand-finished editions, right? But there were special editions released. Was it random who received the special editions? Probably not. But one can hope that during Pejac's month-long stay at Well-Made that maybe he felt generous and added a little extra to a handful of prints... And as for speculation: "It's a handful of collectors in Norway that has hit the "jackpot" in the group 2 launch. More than people saying they got one here." Is there something we should know about Norwegian collectors?
