Hi, everyone.
Up for sale are a couple of originals and a handful of rare prints. I still love them all.
Miss Bugs - "Miss Pretends to be Klimt's Girl" - original commission on paper (painted to the edge, no white border)
Asking: £1550 / $2000 US Price slashed by 50% to: £775 / $1000 US Plus free shipping to UK/Europe/Canada/USA I can do payment via Paypal only (or if you're in the USA, then via Zelle as well)
Mixed media: 1 color silk-screen / 9 color stencil on paper
Size: 34.75" inches x 27.5" inches (88 cm x 70 cm)
Signed on the reverse: "Miss Bugs" and numbered "1/1"
This was an original commission from the days of the Parlor show in Brooklyn, New York back in 2011. They exhibited one on aluminum (that one was priced at over $4000 USD). As far as I know, these two are the only versions of Klimt's Girl that exist. And this one's the only paper version - with a different, arguably better colorway. Miss Bugs did not create a print edition of this image.
I asked the artists if this commission should be treated as an original or a print. Miss replied that it's an original. I paid for it in early 2012.
I never got around to framing the artwork. It's been stored flat in a temperature controlled storage unit for over a decade.
A couple notes:
1. One thing, and this is just my intuition, I believe the face on this image is actually Miss herself. Yeah, I'm taking the title of the artwork as the primary clue. Rest assured, I never annoyingly asked the artists anything in regards to their true identity. I believe they'll reveal themselves one day.
2. In reviewing the email correspondence from back then, it appears we lost something in translation: We referred to the commissioned paper version of the piece as "Miss Pretends to be Klimt's Girl" whereas the aluminum version which was exhibited publicly was actually titled "Miss Would Pretend to be Klimt's Girl". It wasn't deliberate on our part, just a lapse in detail...
3. As with many painted originals, there are a couple tiny, barely perceptible imperfections in the black area. I do have more photos that I can share under different angles and lighting.

Joseph Loughborough - "Folk Series, No. 6"
original charcoal drawing
Asking price: £232 / $300 USD
Size: 25cm x 25cm (approximately 10" x 10" inches)
Exhibited in early 2013 at Anno Domini Gallery in northern California. It's the only original I own by him.
I've always loved Joseph's artwork, and it's a regret of mine that I did not acquire a few select pieces when I had the opportunity. But for me timing has always been a factor in what I've acquired. I've seen great pieces slip through my fingers simply because I didn't have the financial flexibility at a given time... Hard life lesson: You can't buy and own everything you fall in love with : )
On the bright side, Loughborough is still creating awesome artwork to this day.

George Morton-Clark - "1988"
Asking £232 / $300 USD
Signed, numbered giclee print on quality paper from an edition of 50
Size: 67cm X 75cm [26 x 29 inches, approximately]
For a while there, for nearly a decade, I really believed I was George Morton-Clark's #1 fan. I have loved his work dating back to around 2008/2009. Well, he's no longer a "best kept secret" with his originals now having passed the $100,000 USD mark at Christie's, Sotheby's, Phillips, et al. I know he's hit some highs at the Asian auctions too, but I just don't have insight into that data.
This Jean-Michel Basquiat portrait was available to the public via West London Art Factory back in 2013, but I had inquired about it early (based on the painting exhibited in a group show), before they actually made a decision to produce an edition. I told George if they move forward, please reserve one for me. Ultimately, he saved #2 for me. I purchased it directly from him. It was the 2nd largest painting he'd ever done (up until that time, in 2013, I think "Heroes and Villains" was his largest).

James Cauty - "Operation Magic Kingdom Series 2" (2010) - Set of 3 giclee prints, unsigned Pop Editions but all stamped
I'd like to sell these as a set of three: Asking £775 / $1000 USD
All are unsigned, but stamped and numbered
These would look great alongside Blu's "Gaza Strip" or one of Banksy's Walled Off Hotel pieces. I was keenly aware of the atrocities being committed by the "IDF" in Palestine (both Gaza and the West Bank) back in 2008, the slaughter of civilians under "Operation Cast Lead" (over a thousand dead in that operation). All that now pales to the atrocity exhibition actively underway now, in 2024 (some reports now say at least 200,000 dead). I think these prints accurately depict psychopathic, misanthropic soulless IDF monsters. James Cauty knew. And sadly, the message in his artwork here is still relevant today and stands the test of time. The only silver lining to the worst mass extermination since maybe the Bolshevik Revolution is that millions more of us have woken up to the barbaric occupation, in spite of the mainstream media's attempts to ignore or spin it.
