Hanging Art Conservation Tips, by cools on Sept 18, 2024 20:35:12 GMT 1, I have a decent amount of art hanging in my home in various rooms/locations.
Some of it has been framed to museum-quality specs, but some of it has not.
Outside of what I can do with the framing, does anyone have conservation tips/recommendations regarding window, lighting and temperature?
- Should I get UV screens for windows? - Should I get LED lights for all lighting that hits a frame? - What is highest temperature home should ever reach (I've noticed when it gets warm some of the high-quality prints bend more)
Eager to hear any and all advice!
Thanks, cools
