Shep's relationship with Theirry dates back to Y2K when he was Shep's landlord such that MBW can only be seen as business plan hatched by Shep, Terry, Sacha baron Cohen and to a far lesser degree Banksy in the early 00's, produced by them in late 00's and monetised ever since then to the present. MBW's commercialization flies in the face Fairey's politics. Does this make Shep a hypocrite or just a smart businessman whose variable politics for marketing ends are merely giving the customer the artist they want to maximise his profit?
