For Sale - FAILE BUTTERFLY GIRL - NY PIECE!, by user on May 12, 2008 10:44:06 GMT 1, Over the next month I am letting go all of my prints that are no longer on my walls as I have bought some new original work over the past few weeks.
Up for sale is a mint condition NY Faile Shimmering Red Butterfly Girl. It is from an edition of 5 - there were due to be 10 sets of 5 i.e. an overall edition of 50 BUT Faile stopped after 4 editions of 5 leaving the edition at just 20 of these beauties!
35inches x 25inches - silkscreen and nescafe on thick lennox art paper.
Last 2 I saw sold for ยฃ2795 (or ยฃ2750?) and ยฃ2995 - I am looking for ยฃ2500 with free P&P within the UK.
Will post up pics of my print and get onto Faile about Provenance.

I had asked before buying this (about a year and a half ago) whether there were due to be more runs and they said that was originally the plan but it looked unlikely. It has been over 2 years I think since the last shimmering butterfly release so I assume that's it.
Tis a beauty and thanks for the well wishes, this is the 3rd Faile print that I have let go in a week but they're helping to buy other work by artist who I don't own anything by so I don't mind too much plus I have other sexy Failes like the beast below to keep me happy.
What a crap picture of an amazing print. I'll post a photo of it framed when I get it back from my sis - getting work done at the house and didn't want to risk builders touching her boob.
