Cat's got his tongue? Or perhaps he's just furiously typing a future Nobel prize-winning essay on the artistic merits of D*Face's oeuvre? Or maybe his mum's told him his tea's ready?
Add the fact that he paid over the odds to get his prints before they went up on BRP for the bunfight which never materialised. What you find is loads of them on eBay, with the lowest Buy It Now (when I checked earlier) at ยฃ535 delivered while some have paid more than that to get theirs confirmed in advance sitting way out on a limb with 3 sets at ยฃ820 delivered.

Yeah, I tend to agree with that. I wouldn't buy Eine myself but I can see why people do. Especially the bigger canvases.

Blek, Walker, Choe, Francis, Beejoir, come to mind short term but list goes on and on. Next week if DFace released Dog Save Obama I bet he would be king again  .

Im not going to go into specifics with these prints in general but when i look at art i look at it being a window. When you lok into it everyone sees soemthing different.. ;D

i think it's the gang mentality on here that encourages it. Nowhere near as much hate for the lame Blek prints. These SI aren't bad really, not that i would buy them
considering how much dross gets enthused about i can't see the problem with them other than resentment that D likes the $ and these are (relatively) old images......

There we go, we've just come full circle back to where we started in this thread.
People are all over these prints simply because they smell profit. Problem is, they have very little intrinsic value as I really don't believe that many people at all find them genuinely attractive pieces of art - let's see how many framed pics appear on the forum in the next few weeks. Probably not many.
People are buying simply because they see rising prices. This is unsustainable.

The only framed ones you will see will be hanging in the Art Republic!

OK, you 'can't see the problem with them' but may I ask what you see in them? Do they stir your soul? Do they have any emotional reach? Do they have any artistic depth? Because as far as I can tell, they only confirm that D*Face was/is a passable graphic designer.

well they certainly don't stir my soul but yes, i do quite like the clean graphics.
but, as stated, not for my walls.
