On another thread there was a lack of love when someone was selling his recently purchased canvas with the thread contributors said he should sell for cost. Now mustard is doing exactly that and offering his at cost and he's getting asked to take less
If you liked them and missed out earlier in the week this gives you the chance to pick them up for the original price so go for it ;D

Agreed, you can't ask for much more than people to offer recent purchases up for cost. I'm not sure why Mustard is getting such a hard time. I suspect that it is the Fatherxmas effect. Nice one Mustard.

If however these prints were rocketing in price to the levels that the Walker prints did I am sure that you would not get a sniff of anyone selling these prints for cost and people are only doing so because they do not want to be lumbered with the 'betamax' of the print world!

Fair point Snakes.
I bought these against my better judgement and said at the time that I fully expect to sell them for no more than cost in a few months of they are as bad as the other one I own (number 3) because they will never make it to my wall if that is the case.
Less than a year ago I said the same about the StolenSpace Sados. I was not a fan of those at all and really can't believe the price they were going for a month or two ago.
Are the Street Improvements prints really any worse than those Sados?
Personally I do think it is the Fatherxmas effect. Everybody is quite rightly, given the tactics, willing him to fail.
I still applaud Mustard for offering his up for cost. There are bound t be people who missed out because of other commitments and at least it gives them a chance of picking up for cost rather than having to pay a premium to places like Art Republic.

You do need to remember that Betamax was the better format from a technology point of view compared to VHS. Why it failed was down to Sony keeping it as a proprietory technology for too long and the film studios adopting VHS ;D

Flippers abuse this forum. That is my opinion, based on my belief of what the forum is about. You clearly disagree, as is your right. However, most of the people using (reading or posting on) this forum, learn about street art and/or shows and releases by artists within this genre as well as other contemporaries. Now my belief, is that by involving yourself in this community enough to learn of a release and then buying into it purely for profit, is doing this community a disservice by attempting to increase the price of the art, with no consideration or respect for fellow members who may actually want to buy it to appreciate, thereby taking advantage of them (or as originally stated - taking the p!ss). It's not a complex issue to understand and the decent thing would be just to stick it on ebay if that is your goal, but anyone on here who might want to bid for the item is unlikely to thank you for buying at source and attempting to sell on at a higher value.
The guy you have accused by PM of bringing this forum down, is in my experience a very active contributor in all aspects of this forum and clearly a collector of art for art's sake, not just a parasite like you, who is the type of member that truly devalues this forum. Don't worry, you're in good company, there are many of you here. If you think this thread is about business you are quite sad.
