DFace Street Improvement Prints, by stender on May 30, 2008 17:11:08 GMT 1, I'm not referring to this blatant 1960's dolphin but....
I think the galleries are to blame for the amount of prints flipped. If they were to tell people what was going to be released in advanced then that would mean People can decide if they like it or not and whether to commence the f5ing or not. Then you wouldn't have people buying it who don't really want it but make rash decisions in the nano seconds you have to bag one. And the site might not crash as not so many will be after it. Which is why the galleries don't do it that way as they dont care who buys it and flippers just up the demand.....I'll shut up and go back to sleep.

..that probably also explains why some of the online galleries pass on more than one print of a release to their staff instead of payment of overtime or bonuses or whatever as they know they will be quids either way (not mentioning any names, cough cough dirty 'Rat')..

DFace Street Improvement Prints, by Heavyconsumer on May 31, 2008 5:27:42 GMT 1, Im not going to appreciate that am I!
With respect, what did you expect, a big thank you from the people who wanted it and missed out so you could sell it to them at a profit? This print is pretty pants, so if you bought it for a profit, which clearly you have done, you're quite the gambler! You clearly didn't buy it because you love the image or it wouldn't now be up for sale! You deserve to make a loss on it and to be blackballed for future releases by BRP. I also think Silky is far too nice to those of you who abuse this forum and it's members in this way.

BRP did say they were releasing 2 Street Improvement prints. That's enough info for most people to have a reasonable idea what type of images to expect, not to mention the originals are viewable on Upper Playground, which again most DFace fans will be aware of. That is imo not relevant. Most people jamming up the system are only buying because it's a DFace and they think it's a money earner, whether short, medium or long term. That's how I read the situation anyway, maybe I'm a sceptic, but when Fatherbellend up there posts that he an his other personality Lampsey have 3 sets (or however many) prelisted for sale on Ebay, that's also a pretty good indicator that other parasites are lurking. They'll keep at it regardless of how poor the image is, until they start making a loss on the artist and move on (a la David Choe).

Why not do the handover just down the river, say outside Custom House?
You may even get arrested for handing over what look like WMD's ;D

I'm quite glad he did that, considering the item he was bidding on and the timing of the sale.
