Price check Guy Denning, by scavos on May 29, 2008 10:37:36 GMT 1, Not clear what the sizes are for either of these but good to see them both. I haven't seen either before. Both very Denning. I especially like the bottom one. Value is sometimes a tough one with Denning's work but I would agree that ยฃ1k each would be a good place to start. Any info on where these came from wiseblood? Look like prep sketches for paintings. Would be good to see these framed.

I agree with Scavos, that bottom one is a stunner

Price check Guy Denning, by Coach on May 29, 2008 11:23:21 GMT 1, Size is important The bottom one is stuning imo. Bit of a buyers market at the moment. But since it's for insurance purposes, I think around ยฃ1k each must be about right, unless they turn out to be tiny. c

Price check Guy Denning, by Wiseblood on May 29, 2008 12:37:10 GMT 1, Yeah sorry about that should have really provided a bit more info on these. My g/f is into faces and the more simplistic side of art, i saw these on line so bought them for her. it was either for crimbo or her bday so they were bought from tunnandine late 2006 (i think)
'the simplicity of violence' (Top picture) pencil and Conte on paper 38cm x 28cm
'the process for erasure' (Bottom picture) 25cm x 80cm pencil and collage on paper
Neither of the are framed yet, im taking them to get done when i get my morons framed in the next few weeks, think she is just going for the simplar side of framing, they came float mounted to some acid free mount board, so just need the frame and the glass.
