Have you seen any of his shows? It's pretty hard not to be blown away by his work in the flesh. I was sceptical till I saw his stuff at Elms first time. Same with Parla....

I've never seen any comment on religious conotations, but imo the man looks like a Jew, who's praying in the position traditionally used by Muslims for this purpose. Am I off my head or is this acknowledged as a theme of the piece? Or both..

In the olden days the Knights of the realm nealt before the Queen to be Knighted wearing the flag and were called the Queens specials. This guy has been drinking too many of the queens special cheap drinks £2 a double and feels ill. He has been watching England lose at football (again). Adam wanted to show the difference between who used to wear the flag and the sort of hoolie that does now. The pub is a prefab type that could potentially be burnt down one night thats why he burnt the pic to give it some more energy (genius) The pub is the Queens at upton park by the way
