Changing ownership with POW, by jamieb on May 22, 2008 8:54:38 GMT 1, I have a couple of pieces that are from POW that I bought on the secondary market, that I have no intention of letting go anytime soon, in-fact one is already framed on the wall.
I have prov of the original owners, is it possible to register myself as the current owner?
anyone done this?

All you can do is check with pow who the print is registered to - unfortunately you cannot have your name registered instead. Just keep the paper trial for prov.

As viperuk said, they won't change the registration details, whoever bought it direct from them remains the 'registered' buyer!
Just keep all evidence of your transaction!

Not sure how active the service actually is just yet, but it can't hurt to fill out the form and send it in, including a note explaining your intention. I have no idea which services will be charged for, but I doubt simply advising them that you've bought something will carry any costs.
