FAILE - Original "Sinful Pleasures" torn FOR SALE, by user on Jun 13, 2008 13:02:22 GMT 1, I didn't end up selling my Neate portraits so my Parla quest failed miserably. Am gutted but have decided I'm going to cheer myself up by getting one of the new Kinsey canvasses. In order to do so I am selling the Faile 1/1 Sinful Pleasures piece as seen below.
It measures 36inches x 25inches and comprises of several layers of torn paper, acrylic paint and coffee stains. It is a thick, heavy piece due to the multiple layers and is absolutely stunning in the flesh.
Was bought from The Helium Foundation, have confirmation from Faile stating that is an original 1/1.
Will post up better pics soon.
No offers and no swaps on this one, it's price is fixed at ยฃ7995.

I thought ยฃ7995 or offers in and around that was reasonable enouhg given that faile 1/1 pieces on paper now sell through galleries for around 9k and someone on here is trying to sell 3 at 10k each. And before people start moaning or asking how much I paid for this; when this piece was available in 2006 you could have bought top Neate originals for 2k and Micallef canvasses for 5k, it's not my fault how the market has gone.

it's slow right now in general, not just for faile. I'm also certain faile fans want to see what is released and take thier chances with a 1/1 or low edition for probably much much less. It's just a matter of waiting maybe another 2-3 weeks.
