Choes is barley meeting og cost these days. City girl is the only one that exceeds. I have all three and love them to death. I feel they are just getting shuffled under the bus with all the newer releases(faile) as of late. I say hold for now unless you are in money woes or just dying for change. I'll bet you can get a quick and easy sale for that extra city girl at $1k.

What is a CG 76 worth? Just curious? I love both but CG 76 is amazing.

i would say that they are worth roughly twice the price of the 150 edition...

it's hard to put a value on 76 as they come up for sale so rarely. plus there are vast differences between prints, with some completely hand painted, and some just touched up a bit. i personally disagree with you rOb and think the opposite. although when i was first introduced to Choe i enjoyed 150 much more. after about 6 months 76 took the cake - especially the fully worked prints, which are absolutely stunning. 150 surely grabs your attention at first, but it failed to keep mine for a long time, which is what apparently happened with a lot of collectors, as they are readily available, framed or not. you'll come around my man as for the value of the 76, i'd say between $2000 - $3500 depending on the print, the buyer and the seller.

pimp LAZ has the original City Girl 76 available? i thought he only had the London Girl print for sale?

i agree they are excellent prints, well worth £1k of anyones cash. personally prefer it to CG 150

yup, next big print purchase for me will hopefully be a 76...i have the VICE magazine cover with CG 76 on it framed in my bedroom. hahah, and the GF loves it! that slut.

His print market is a little stagnant as they are not flippable and the Laz prints weren't cheap. I am pretty sure he sells out all his originals though...

Anyway, I think Choe is the nut's - does anyone know if his Dirty Hands film is being released as a DVD?

Nothing's happened to Choe, he's going from strength to strength imo. However the print market has been changing drastically! It's a fickle place (especially in summer), where profit is most buyers' motivation, over and above the quality of image they are getting, as there is no intention to hang it in most cases.

I think his latest print release is one of his very best, so I don't agree about images becoming weaker. His originals are selling for higher prices with each showing. He's stopped taking commissions. I would guess he's not sitting pulling his hair out because a few prints are less flippable.

Then with the greatest of respect, you would still end up with a beautiful CG150 on your wall and perhaps even some profits, if you sold the other three prints today. It really doesn't seem like such a bad deal to me. We may also see they are all selling for a little more towards the end of the year.

Anyway, whatever you end up doing, good luck, I hope you get good prices for any pieces you sell. If you're a Miss Bugs fan and would consider swapping your spare CG150 for a couple of their prints, please give me a shout, as I'd love to take her off your hands.
