I think the stencils were the winners in the release as they are as close to an original as you can get. Kind of like editioned canvases...but on paper...obviously. But, that's just me.

New Failes aren't a flipper's paradise, by snapwolfe on Jul 21, 2008 23:21:46 GMT 1, what about the romance in brown that was up to $5400? it was removed by ebay prior to finishing, but was definitely a nice markup from $2500.

Really? I liked this one quite a bit more than many of the pieces up for sale so was very happy to have won it!

Just imho mattlock, I and I think most others prefer full colored failes so maybe the monotone price is not indicative of "flippability". I thought the trembling in red was one of the best of the release. Nevertheless, at these price points for editioned prints its a dangerous game for flippers...

Here Here. Some of the best pieces and IMO best priced for what you got. I own alot of old varied and heavily hand finished pieces but never had a stencil. So I was very much pleased with the outcome.
Love that the flippers arent having a holiday either. Might be able to grab another just off cost.

Agreed on the trembling red...absolutely loved that version. And I see your point regarding people liking more colorful Failes but I guess I just like the more simple monotone pieces. I much prefer this over the Tate print but I know many disagree with me on that one...

Imo, the tate print is arguably the worst print to ever come straight from the nyc studio...

That's why these boards could never get too boring, so long as there is work being produced - It's one of my favourite few Faile images! ;D

Yeah, keen to see it too before saying its the worst print! Surely its gotta be better than the dude with the bandaged eyes....in red??? Not even a cataract surgeon with cataracts would buy that baby

New Failes aren't a flipper's paradise, by Deleted on Jul 22, 2008 9:47:55 GMT 1, are there still the BIN tate prints left then? i thought they sold out in seconds. What do you guys reckon, buying one now or waiting to see if there is a price drop on the bay? Really like this print.

New Failes aren't a flipper's paradise, by robotoil on Jul 22, 2008 21:36:15 GMT 1, I believe the prices on the last release were just stratospheric. It's fun watching this stuff come up on eBay now. Everyone is trying to sell their older prints at the latest release price point. I don't see any takers.

I agree they were expensive but I also thin they are worth every penny. At least Faile put some effort into every piece.

Who's got a Stories Of Love (brown) they want to part with?
