We have seen the image repeated a few times and this looks the same but with slightly different colours?
Some of the lovely new stencils have more hand finishing but as there were from editions of 7, they were called prints?

$8k is a lot of money, but not really in this scene. Faile boxes that originally sold for $3k are going for $20k now. As in most of Faile's "originals," the images on the boxes are repeats. Like most other fans, I would like to see something new from Faile. I wish they would just throw away all of their stencils and do something new, but until then, it is what it is.

at the moment, apart from banksy signed prints and a few bargin originals, gone are the days when u buy something for $8k and its worth two or three times as much the day after

For the record, when Faile uses the word "original," it means that the piece is 1 of 1. In the last release Faile did a lot of the Sexy Ad originals, different color ways that are all 1 of 1. I see how you are confused zippy.
Although the sexy ad pictures from the Faile website looked like there were a lot that were the same, after seeing the pictures on the top of the post I am really impressed. There is soooop much cool typography in this print and the color way above looks really good.

I'm definitely not looking to get two or three times the price I paid for it. I'm mainly looking to get a couple of prints out of it - whatever's fair.

And let's be honest, a 1 of 1 Faile is mighty nice to have in the collection. Don't think you'll be able to get one anywhere near 8K in the future.
