Had a chat with the girl in there, all of the Canvases were sold out within the first two hours of the opening night!

I went yesterday. Great show. It makes a refreshing change.
Funny though, the girl there said that all the pieces were sold out 'under' an hour of the opening night!
It's getting less and less!
They have a limited edition book of 500 on sale for ยฃ20 and signed book for 40 (possibly 45?). Only 100 signed.
It's a very nice book. A cheeky little purchase me tinks.

Blek and D*Face only 10 minutes walk apart, come and meet me at Blek (where I have myself down as me + 2 guests for you and the tyke) and we can then casually stroll over to D*Face. I think Martin has said he will be doing similar. Free booze and biccies at Blek (so after the customary two shandy's we can do the wobbly leg walk as "coined" a couple of weeks ago ;D)

Its A Wonderful World, by BK83 on Oct 9, 2006 23:38:53 GMT 1, Was in London last week on a bit of a vacation from the 'rat race' (no pun intended of course!!) that is New York -- managed to get over to the Laz and see the "it's a wonderful world" gallery by Antony Micallef -- it was really great -- I loved the use of crayons, paints and stenciling -- just really well put together.

All Blek stuff likely to be too expensive for me, ยฃ250 for a sheep was tempting but.... so will be a 15-20 minute scoot round before heading on to D's, where I plan to spend much longer, and yes, dip a lot deeper into my pockets!!
Plus will be in Blek Gallery every day after opening so much so that they will probably put a banning order on me. All the stuff is up already in the gallery and it looks pretty tasty to be honest. Was gonna post a piccy but didnt want to spoil for anyone else going!
