Trading my Banksy collection-Neate-Dface-others, by haisurf on Aug 14, 2008 4:56:53 GMT 1, I am in serious "lets change everything" mode. It came out of nowhere, so art is up. Pretty much my collection....I am looking to trade, because I want pieces, I don't want money (yet), but as a last resort I will go that way. I will just give a quick list of what I have that is available NOW for trade, and for a sale if that's where we go...I have other pieces, but I haven't decided on those. These are the pieces I have decided must go---that I have decided have spent their last day in my loft.
Banksy: Morons, Have a Nice Day, Love is in the air, Rude Copper, Virgin Mary, Jack and Jill, Bomb Hugger Girl with Balloon and soup cans
Adam Neate: Red and White Self Portrait (Matching #'s), NOTV, Tea Drinker

K-Guy-Politicans Kill
Micallef, pretty much the whole Impure Idols show (was a gift, what can I say?)
Figure I'd put it here before ebay just to see interest. Just send me a message if I have something you want, and make an offer--trade or buy. If no, no worries! Of course I'll send pictures as well, but not on the main page.

But, after another month or so of offers, trades, etc...I'll sell them out of a friend's gallery. Just because I'm not in a hurry. About to complete one trade, which is exciting--several pieces. But, my target are originals mainly. After that, just harder to find pieces--stuff that doesn't come up for sale very often. I know that is really vague, but what I am after is vague. The ideal piece? I probably don't even know if it exists! Did Adam Neate or Choe ever spend a week in California or Australia beach town and hang out with Al Merrick, McKee or Matt "Mayhem" Biolos (surfboard shapers)? If they did meet and hang out, did Mayhem shape a board for Adam to do the graphics on? Did Choe airbrush a McKee surfboard? Or, was Blek backpacking thru Mexico, where he met a fan of his work. So, as a gift the two of them ripped down an "ALTO"sign, then Blek took to painting it?
Stuff like that....that's why I'm vague, because those would be the most incredible pieces to me.
