Takashi Murakami MONOGRAMOUFLAGE CANVAS WANTED, by James Smith 77 on Aug 26, 2008 17:48:25 GMT 1, If I were you I would be patient and not jump to pay someones BIN price on the bay. I have a good friend that bought a set of these and had a VERY hard time selling them for what he wanted. In the end he flew from NYC to Milan to sell to some guy for a bit above cost. Set the price your willing to pay and send offers to GOOD sellers until it's met. Have you tried to call the Brooklyn Museum? And all other museums that have been or will be hosting his retrospective? This is where i would start. From what I hear there is alot of extra Murakami prints/canvases that are sold without people knowing they are available. I got very lucky recently and was able to buy a "Homage to Francis Bacon" for cost sourced through one of the museums. Good luck.
