Certainly a time to buy if youโre to believe the intentionally vague hypemen.

It was not a conversation on the pretext of buying a piece as he knows I have several. It was a conversation that included discussion about the galleries he has worked with to date and the suggestion was conversations were taking place with some major players. Could be true, could be entire speculation but he is at the age and has the longevity behind him that could warrant such a move.

I love his work and have owned a couple of originals over the years but could not really buy into Parla himself. Never met him, and I am sure he is a lovely guy but just could not really get into what i read and saw about him online. He does not come across as very genuine. I really like an artist who is genuine about what they do and say whether it is popular or not.
People have been saying this about Parla for at least 15 years.

Why do a print with an artist if they can't even be bothered to sign them? I get it with signed books where the edition might be in the thousands but this is only 100 prints.
Oh well. Still contemplating buying this one.
