I have people who come into the gallery who try to 'out-do' me on pure evil knowledge because they dont know im actually mr PE. As an analogy, its a bit like being a grommet skateboarder and going into a skate shop and having the guys in the store look down their noses at you because you dont know what size wheels to get .... I used to hate that stuff.
I know, I know. Perhaps afraid was too strong a word - maybe weary better sums it up.

Hehe Grommet, not heard that phrase in years. And was never called it to my face when I was the clueless kid in the skateshop over 20 years ago now......

2nd Cans Festival โข 2008, by fool4faile on Aug 25, 2008 9:27:55 GMT 1, hm, don't wanna be a party-pooper, but why does most of the stuff in the 2nd cans-festival look soooooooooooo dated??? although the way the works flow into each other is much more organic than in part 1 (or maybe BECAUSE of that effect???i'm unsure...) the impression it leaves all in all screams "EARLY NINETIES" instead of state of the art 2008...

I know nothing about cameras  but its a Sony Cyber-shot H7. I have been pretty impressed with it so far, and one thing I did notice was that I never used the flash once  and no matter how dark it was they seemed to come out prefect

Yeah right, but I bet you dont know he's got a tail and has to file down his teeth to blend into modern society, and even then he doesn't do it very well!!! ;D

Whether you queued up for the Cans Festival back in May or missed out on car crashes, piano men, and Banksy getting called out, now is definitely the time to head back over to Leake Street near Waterloo. Almost the entirety of the tunnel under the old Eurostar platform has been painted over with new street art. There may not be the star quality of that guy from Bristol, Brooklyn's Faile, or the ever cheeky Bandit, but there are loads of cars with a fresh coat of pain, gorgeous large-scale murals, and more opportunities to add your own stencil work. And unlike the first run of Cans, no queues. Here are some of our favourite pieces.
