Auction Saboteur, by finlee on Feb 1, 2008 14:15:15 GMT 1, All,
Are I missing something or is there a wanted section on the above site? If not, i think this would be a good idea, people go on and submit a print they're looking for and a price they're willing to pay.
Good or bad idea?!?!

Auction Saboteur, by finsburyparkranger on Feb 1, 2008 15:30:33 GMT 1, I'm not totally sold on the idea of a wanted section, given the other things that the site would benefit from. Is it really something that people think would be useful?
So far on the wish list is ....
Currency converter way to identify new prints increased secrurity Comments board web stats to be viewed by users previous sales to be viewed by users
Also bearing in mind the sites cost thousands and not made a penny yet and the next upgrade will cost 1k or 2k more I'm reluctant to add things that are not really necessary. Thoughts welcome.

Auction Saboteur, by Tyler Durden on Feb 1, 2008 15:32:07 GMT 1, I've sold the 2 bits I put on there, with minimal fuss and met some good like minded collectors in the process. All in all, I think the site's great.

A little more hard work and additions and you'll have the perfect site! (otherwise called Expressobeans! ;D )

Auction Saboteur, by finlee on Feb 1, 2008 15:40:51 GMT 1, My apologies for not seeing the other threads as I cant always get access to the boards.
To be honest I think its a cracking site as I hate ebay and for me the wanted section would be good as it would show if there was demand for a certain print/original that a person may not have considered getting rid of and selling to a good home.

Personally I think a fiver to post up the sale would be more than adequate, no matter what price the piece is. The seller could add half of this to his overall price? or even the whole amount if they're greedy.

Not right now, but I am going to have a clear out to finance some original work and this is probably going to go. Watch the ebay board for a heads up in the coming month or so.

Auction Saboteur, by Jef Aerosol on Feb 11, 2008 12:48:57 GMT 1, it is strange : I get loads of pm and commissions on this forum or other webpages (flickr, my forum, myspace, etc) but was not contacted one single time thru auction saboteur. Or maybe I missed something ? Perhaps some people contacted me after having seen the site... When people get in touch with you thru the site, is there a way of knowing they do ? How does it work ? Is it a private mail, or are the messages to be read on the auction saboteur website itself ? Excuse my ignorance !

Message sent. Check your messages on the site and check your email. If you've received nothing then give me a shout.

Couldn't agree less. Have tried to contact people on Expresso Beans - simple hello is it still for sale? sort of thing - When they do get back to you the response is the same - not really for sale, unless you make a ridiculous offer of about three times its' value.
I hate the fact that expresso beans has pieces for sale / wanted but no prices too - people should give a price or take it off the site. imo.
