I might be interested if I had some idea of what it looks like, what size it is and what media we're talking. As it stands, your post leaves any and all questions unanswered (except that you feel it's worth more than £2k). So can we please have either a pic, a more appropriate level of written detail about it, or ideally, both? Thanks.

Yes you did! How can anyone be interested in something they know absolutely nothing about though? I can appreciate there may be some reasons you aren't keen on an image upload, but buyer's need much more to go on than you're giving.

That's nice for you Graeme, no witchhunt occuring here though I'm afraid - not quite sure where the scammer bit is inferred from, certainly not anything I said hopefully as that was not my intention. I was simply criticizing a sale thread for not stating what was being sold. I'm climbing back into my dustbin now though and will make sure to close the lid. Have fun.

the scammer bit comes from the fact that a few people recently have tried to run scams on art without showing photo's so i guess some people have hightened securtiy, but was not aimed at u, or anyone in particular

eze said that if u wanted pictures of the choe original, PM him, i did, and was sent the photo's very quickly - personally i agree that sales threads work better if u show pictures, but each to their own

Noone wants to burn their bridges with galleries, but there's nothing to stop a seller saying "it's a smallish watercolour on paper," or "it's a large oil on canvas". Personally for example, I know I could not afford to buy the latter, but the former might be a possibility, especially with trades considered. However my point is, if there are another couple of hundred people in a similar position to myself, why should hundreds of PMs have to change hands pointlessly, when the seller can save themselves and the prospective buyers the time?

I realise I'm being a bit anal about it, but I hadn't meant to get involved in a full-on discussion, or indeed to question the seller's integrity.

this is ridiculous, and I don't appreciate people coming here and accusing this post of possibly being shady when I have done nothing to warrant it.

I prefer to deal via pm. That alone does not make me a scammer. If that raises suspicion, then pm me for more details until your suspicions are alleviated. Had these suspicious posters pm'd me as I had requested, I would have gladly shared any info they wanted. I did not recieve a single pm from any of them.

For people to insinuate that I could be shady based on the fact that I like to deal via pm is BS. Anyone who has contacted me, I have replied to with full info and pics and answered all questions.
