Nice NYTimes Article, by dkla on Apr 8, 2007 21:46:34 GMT 1, By the way, for those that have the money, you should take a serious look at the McGinness print available for sale at Iconoclast for $1,500. It's a killer image from his 2004 show and is sure to be a very sound art investment to boot (his works on paper are in very high demand). The fact that it's still up there for sale (edition of 200) after all this time is probably testament to the art market's ignorance to the existence of the Iconoclast store. Check it out. Also, that Barry McGee is incredible (but at $3,500, takes it into another league of buyer). Love that ESPO, too - lots of hand work by our favorite flattop flyboy...
I wouldn't worry too much about the recent threads about problems with Iconoclast's billing errors. If you read Christian Strike's response to the Obey members' messages, you'll see he jumped on fixing the problems they were encountering back then.

Funny you'd mention that. There is a new thread on the Obey forum addressing that exact thing:
"Posted: Sun Apr 08, 2007 12:31 pm Post subject: Hack Reply with quote I know we discussed this back when we all bought the Soup Can prints, but I recently had a random charge on my credit card for a domain registration out of Africa. Not mine. Assuming this was through Iconoclast hack. I had to change my credit card number. Sketchy."
An easy work around would be to simply contact the gallery by phone and order that way, avoiding the website altogether. Considering the potential consequences involved with clearing up an issue with identity theft, taking the extra time to dial a phone and ensure a higher level of security might be worth the effort.
