Sepia Morons - Back for sale - 2k, by Lord Lucas Roham on Oct 24, 2008 9:32:39 GMT 1, Due to being 'mucked about' this is back for sale at 2k.
The item has now been removed from the frame and photographed. It is in 100% flawless condition.
In terms of provinence it has also been acknowledged as 'fine' by POW, ownership details are also consistant with POW's records. (They have been sent photograph's & ownership details). You are obviously welcome to get in-touch with them to confirm this.
] Note, I am selling to pay off some debts, I love this image and would not sell otherwise, I am NOT interested in swap deals.

How would I go about this?
Would it be best to get a COA from POW first? I know there is a Sothebys in Edinburgh, would I just pop in there and have a chat with them?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Best thing is probably to phone them up in Edinborough and ask if they have someone there with whom to discuss entering a signed Banky print to auction. Just say you want to sell it, you're flexible with regards to reserve (which you are if you're looking to net ยฃ2k minimum for a print that often hammers for a few times that!) and I'm sure they'll be happy to explain their terms and procedures to you if they're interested in selling the print (which one would guess they would be). Bare in mind though, that they may have one for the next sale already so you may have to wait until some future date for it to be included, but if it goes for the prices some of them have recently, I'm sure you won't mind hanging on a little while extra!
Don't be ashamed to ask for a discount on seller's premium, even if they give you a small break it's better than nothing, and if they say "no" you've lost nothing by asking!

Sepia Morons - Back for sale - 2k, by Heavyconsumer on Nov 6, 2008 3:56:18 GMT 1, In addition, if you do get it into a sale, it's probably a good idea to try and persuade them to sell it as the final lot. Bit of a joke for anyone with unspent money left over perhaps!

Unfortunately I have one already otherwise I would have bought this one, it's a bargain at this price I' m just saying that the asking price for his Morons is quite a bargain compared to the going rate they normally go for. Just my two cents.

Exactly, just doesn't make sense to me, why is it unfortunate that he has one, it's as though he wishes he hasn't got one. Anyway fortunately I have one ;D ;D ;D

Thanks for pointing that out for me. My formulation was a bit unfortunate after all English isn't my native Language. Let me correct myself by saying that I'm fortunate to have one ;D

Sepia Morons - Back for sale - 2k, by Heavyconsumer on Nov 9, 2008 2:17:20 GMT 1, I'm very surprised to see the last one on ebay actually went for over ยฃ3,400! I thought they were going for much less than that. I know people in here have picked these up for around ยฃ2000 or so in recent months.
