Jose Parla: Adaptation / Translation PICS, by edcase on Oct 11, 2008 22:27:27 GMT 1, I was one of the very last to get my book signed by him and the most amazing thing was that after two hours of non-stop signings he was still laughing and smiling and genuinely enthused by it all.
I then spent at least 45 minutes looking around the exhibition and when I came back downstairs he was still chatting and talking to people about individual paintings. the guy is so clearly all consumed with passion about what he does, which looking at how is work is evolving makes me think he is somebody people will be talking about in many art history books and lectures long after we are all gone.
