Yeah but his other smaller prints can sell for 2, 3, 4 times what they retailed for, this sells for less than double now. I kinda think it's a fair deal considering its size.

Just so we are clear, this is your print, I know many people are having a difficult time financially, if you have to let it go, I totally understand. My only hope is that these will eventually find a home.

The prints were available for preorder to some forum members, I think that's probably what he's talking about. (ie.. If you preorder, but later find funds are too tight, he understands) He did not say, if funds are a bit tight and you want to make a buck, feel free to buy some of my art! I don't think the gallery's message could be much clearer, but continue to ignore it, if that's what suits you.  There's no ambiguity and your quote is misplaced imho.

Not quite true they were available to selected forum members first - they didn't have to purchase and weren't pre-ordered - they had first option - Peoples circumstances change and i think that was Josh's point
