got some interesting offers but after having a think it either has to be a micallef girl tokyo or the 3 david choe prints that were released recently+something 2 make up the difference

i wouldn't want anything extra with the micallef, just the choe to even up the deal, i paid £1500 for the neate cold war continues, and although i do accept prices have dropped, they havent dropped to where it would be a fair trade if i swapped for the choe's which are going for £550-£600 minus ebay fee's

Agree with Graeme, whilst Neate prices on the bay are dropping its pretty hard to see the wood from the trees here - whilst I dont doubt the authenticity of the piece that's for sale at present where someone only has a copy of the original invoice as thats been lost how the fcuk do you end up with a copy of an invoice that's been lost? Answers on a postcard?

It's a relative value/uplift equation that people make here not mark to market, I think that you'd need to 'give up' on both sides to enable a trade. Graeme wants to swap, but hang on, so does the other guy......am I naive to think that the Cold War should still realise say £900?

the last cold war on ebay went for £655 or close to that. if you interested in either of the originals i have for sale, we could work something out at the last ebay price.

i'm not getting at you with this at all, but sometimes you've just got to accept the going rate and sometimes your lucky and someone will pay a bit more.
i know you paid £1500 for your Cold War but as you mentioned prices have dropped considerably, not just on Neates on most things.
i offered you about £50 more than the last one went for on ebay ages ago (the first time you tried to sell it) and you within your rights refused. however my offer was nearly double what the last one went for on ebay recently. Not really sure what my point is, i guess sometimes you've just got to accept a loss and move on.

I would think that a seller would have to take that type of price for a Cold War Continues at the moment G. Even some of the prints that WERE selling for a bit more, such as Bigger Picture, Deep End and Calm Fear have ALL sold or been offered recently for below a grand and imo and that of many others judging by earlier sale prices, your print was less desirable than these.

Def' a buyer's market at the moment imo.

Definitely a keeper.....I plan on picking up a couple more while prices are like this.

Look m8 we all understand you want to get rid of it BUT at this climate in the recession it would sell for no more than £650 (in my opinion), if i were you considering its an Adam Neate i would hang on to it until the recession finishes because there are loads of people who want Neates but not everyone has the money to spend. Think about how much Neate prints were going before the recession

Yep its true alright, really if anyone who actually has a Neate print is extremely lucky to have one so i wouldnt really care if it sold or not but when you need the money its a different thing.
