Best place to sell a Parla, by EHC on Nov 18, 2008 18:20:04 GMT 1, I'm guessing you're trying to sell the one you screwed me out of. The one you agreed to sell to me via Auction Sab and via email. Then the day after, as I waited for your contact info, you posted it on this board looking for higher offers. When I called you out on it, but still wanted to buy it, you still decided to pull out of the deal. That was a real b!tch move and I hope it stays unsold. Well, that's ONE side of the story! What really happened was he asked for a price which many people also did. At NO point did I commit or 'agree' to any kind of deal. I said I had changed my mind and was going to hang onto it. This was 10 MONTHS ago so I did actually keep my word and keep it. If I had sold it to someone at a higher offer straight after I would accept why you may be upset but I didn't. You are bitter because like a lot of members on this forum you missed out on a piece of art you wanted. It has happened to me many times. I have also dealt with many members of this forum with no problems. The threatening abuse I received after was unacceptable and a bit pathetic (and probably against forum rules) but there you go. I'm sorry you haven't managed to move on nearly a year later.
I'd like to clarify and then I'm done with this.
A price WAS agreed upon. You listed it on Auction Sab with a price and I clicked on the buy button. I said in my email that I would pay the full asking price you had listed on Auction Sab but wanted to see a copy of the receipt and get your contact info before proceeding to make payment. To which you replied that you would get this to me as soon as you got back home.
Then you listed on this forum looking for a higher price while you had me on ice. Of course I was upset! That is a shady way to do business. I still wanted the canvas but you decided not to sell to me anymore because of your BS mistake that I called you out on.
I also never threatened you so thats a blatant lie. I said Karma's going to get you back, thats all. I don't even have any of your info so why you would feel threatened is retarded.
All of the above is documented in an email.
bobbymjr - I didn't say I was "screwed" but that he screwed me out of a canvas, theres a difference. And yes, people may flake all the time but that doesn't make it ok or acceptable for a seller to agree to a deal then try to get a higher offer while he puts you on ice.

Best place to sell a Parla, by bobbymeachamjr on Nov 18, 2008 18:27:31 GMT 1, Yeah, it is pretty lame when people flake, and members old and new flake all the time here. Just saying that a deal is done only when you have the money or artwork in your hands. This approach = no drama
