FAILE STRENGTH FS, by Filipino Box Spring Hog on Nov 21, 2008 21:07:50 GMT 1,
Early Faile print - one of their first - printed on cardboard - unsigned - only a handful were printed - print is in good condition - minor edge and corner wear but, still in very good condition.
Just offer me cash - not looking for a fortune here.
22 x 14 inches or 56 x 36 cm.

FAILE STRENGTH FS, by Filipino Box Spring Hog on Nov 22, 2008 5:59:31 GMT 1, not completely sure but 2005 or earlier - it's so old, they didn't even print it themselves.

FAILE STRENGTH FS, by Ron Goldsurfer on Nov 22, 2008 11:03:42 GMT 1, I got another print in the same "series" that was done at the same time as this one. I believe they were made as early as 2001. I have tried to get it confirmed by Faile. Here is an answer from Faile I got when I tried to get more info on my print (CHALLENGER).
From Faile: "... these were a set of 4. They were made through a woodblock letterpress shop in Tennessee, I believe. We had them do the type on the bottom, in this case "CHALLENGER." Then we did the print on top of them.
I think there were maybe 25 of each? We weren't really serious about numbering back then unfortunately but we only made those once. So I know there aren't very many.
I think there was a Bunny Boy, Shuttle, These Women holding a Baby Chick (Photo), and I'm blanking on the other one at them moment. Anyway, I tried to find the pics for these but we only had one and I can't find it now. If I do I'll pass it on.
It was just an experiment at the time. A part of the printing process and trying new things as students."
Hope this info can be of any help in your attempt to sell. I wish I could afford it, would have been nice to hang this one together with my CHALLENGER.
Cheers!
