But I think in general the Faile market is finally correcting itself. Just last week another auction closed at £3K for a Forbidden Love 1/1 (paper).

I don't get the correcting part either it was just supply and demand some of those super small Nyc editions are sick and it's easy to see why prices went up, some of the best quality hand painted prints out there

I don't get the correcting part either it was just supply and demand But it wasn't just supply and demand there was also a lot of naivety and emotion involved. And yes it wasn't just Faile it was practically every artist here. Still love Faile but the prices are just getting a bit more realistic now. It's not a big deal unless you need to sell, but if you're selling to buy something else it shouldn't be too big a deal as the something else should also be cheaper as well. |
